The Intelligent Mattress Frame (IMF) has been developed to provide a cost effective solution for mattress installation without the need for ROV or diver intervention. The sophisticated tooling can be used to monitor and deploy concrete mattresses to the seabed, disconnect the deployment rigging and conduct a visual/ sonar confirmation of the mattress location. The IMF is a stand-alone unit, fitted with four vectored Thrusters and a standard fibre optic gyro for movement in the X and Y axis.
The Carrera 4 is a multi-purpose excavation tool, ideally suited for accurate trenching, (de)burial, stabilisation and/or excavation of seabed materials. It can perform in a range of soils including clays and sands, whilst the width of the tool is adjustable so that the trench width can be varied during operation. Variable output modes with full positional control provide flexibility and high precision, making the Carrera 4 an ideal tool for trenching or excavationworks at cable-end locations which are in close proximity to offshore turbine/platform structures.
The 2000 tonne rated carousel provides a reliable, efficient and cost effective solution to facilitate the installation and/or simultaneous burial of flexible products.
The carousel has a maximum lay speed of 1200 metres per hour for the deployment of flexible pipelines, umbilicals and power cables.
Its modular design, which includes a deck mounting system, enables rapid mobilization and demobilization on a suitable vessel without the need for welding the carousel structure to the deck.
